Matthew Dundon has 19 years’ experience as a fixed income and event-driven equity hedge fund manager, securities analyst and attorney.  From 2010 through the firm’s formation in 2016 he was a hedge fund portfolio manager, including service as the value and distressed portfolio manager for Pine River Capital Management during the years in which it grew from $1.7 billion to $15 billion in assets under management.  He previously led the credit research group at Miller Tabak Roberts Securities, worked as an analyst at that firm, and practiced leveraged finance and transportation/infrastructure finance law.  He holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and JD from the University of Chicago. Mr. Dundon is admitted to the New York and Massachusetts Bars, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.

Jonathan Feldman joined the firm in 2016 and co-leads several of its key client engagements. He is a long-time credit and equity investor with a focus on special situations and distressed opportunities. Career highlights include leadership in both client-facing distressed research and principal investing for Nomura and work as an analyst and portfolio manager for an affiliate of Paloma Partners. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ming Shen leads Dundon Advisers’ efforts in Asia, primarily focused on Chinese institutions and corporations with US credit market and bankruptcy exposures. He is a veteran investment manager and consultant, as well as a pioneer in the Chinese private-sector export credit market, having founded the Chinese branch of Coface, the French-based global trade financier. He holds an MBA from Western University in Ontario, Canada and attended China Foreign Affairs University.

Robert Goch is a senior consultant providing key expertise in retail and food industry bankruptcy questions, as well as broader distressed market expertise. After a long career as a credit analyst for a leading industry research firm, a Wall Street boutique, and several major hedge funds, he returned to academia as a member of the business faculty at Molloy College. He holds a BA, JD and PhD from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
