Matthew Dundon founded the firm in 2016. He has been a global credit, litigation and distressed investment leader for over 13 years (research head at Miller Tabak Roberts Securities 2006-2010, and portfolio manager at Pine River Capital and Advent Capital 2010-2016), including dozens of litigation-intensive investments and trading opportunities. Mr. Hurwitz leads the firm’s efforts in media and entertainment opportunities, and participates more broadly in the firm’s restructuring, distressed investing and special credit opportunities businesses. As a firm principal, he shares with Matthew Dundon in the general management of the firm. He joined the firm after long a career as a senior business and legal executive in the entertainment industry. He holds a JD from Georgetown Law Center and a BA from Middlebury College.
Heather Barlow is a veteran restructuring advisor, acting for creditors, lenders and debtors in large and midsize complex restructuring matters as well as serving in liquidating trustee and independent director capacities. She has previously worked as an an investment banker (at firms such as CIBC World Markets and Chase Manhattan Bank) and as an asset manager and credit research professional (at Harbert Management Corporation). She earned both her B.A. and M.P.A. from New York University.
Alex is a senior restructuring and distressed debt professional with a particular focus on the energy industry. In addition to his work for Dundon Advisers, he is an independent director of merchant power provider GenOn. He was a long-time portfolio manager with Sandell Capital Management and earlier worked as a credit analyst with Bank of America and Lehman Brothers. He holds a BS from Boston College and an MBA from NYU.

Alan is a senior adviser focused on agriculture and logistics. He is a 30-year veteran of business and policy in the food sector, and in addition to his work with Dundon has commercial interests in Pacific Northwest produce operations and leads produce industry trade groups.
Abraham Wickelgren is advises Dundon clients on antirust matters. He is also the Bernard J. Ward Centennial Professor at the University of Texas Law School. He is the co-editor of the American Law and Economics Review, has been on the editorial boards of the Journal of Industrial Economics and the International Review of Law and Economics and is a former member of the board of directors of the American Law and Economics Association. Mr. Wickelgren received an A.B. from Harvard College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University. Mr. Wickelgren was an assistant professor at Northwestern and has been a visiting professor at Duke and Yale.
Demetri is a senior adviser to the firm in business development, legal and compliance and the sourcing and execution of engagements in Canada. He is a 30-year veteran of the financial industry with senior legal and legal/structuring roles at O’Melveny & Myers, BNP Paribas, JP Morgan and White & Case. AB Columbia, LLB/BCL McGill.
Ms. Zavina-Tare is a thought leader and a key part of the team’s execution capacity in real estate, gaming, lodging and leisure restructuring engagements. In addition to extensive clientele as an independent industry consultant, she has held senior executive positions in industry (including Summit/Power Mountain and Gansevoort Hotel Group) and progressively senior positions in financial services relating to her industry focus (Credit Suisse, American Express). She began her career as investment banker at Merrill Lynch. She holds an AB from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Harvard.

Michael Garbe, CPA
Mr. Garbe leads the execution of forensic accounting and other financial investigation scopes of work, primarily in its restructuring business. He has been working in the field for over 40 years. He hold a BS in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.
Ms. Kimm primarily works with the firm’s litigation asset management clients and also supports the restructuring practice’s retention and fee application workflow. She practiced transactional and litigation law in-house at an international corporation and at New York law firms. She holds a BA from NYU and a JD from IU Bloomington.
Mr. Tucker is a veteran fixed income business development and sales professional. He is a member of the firm’s restructuring group and sources borrowers and lenders for non-conventional lending opportunities. He holds a bachelor degree from Iona College.
Mr. Rooney is an associate director of the firm who divides his time between the firm’s asset management and restructuring engagements. He holds a BS and MBA from Boise State University and a JD from the University of Texas at Austin Law School.
Mr. Hill is a senior associate working in the firm’s restructuring and asset management practices. He joined the firm from fixed income research specialist Komodo.
